About the Innovation Platform

The Innovation Platform is an initiative aimed at strengthening the innovative capacity in healthcare (including dental care) for the entire Västra Götaland region.

We also enhance collaboration between healthcare and external parties, primarily the business sector. Through our mission, we contribute to better care for our patients today and in the future, as well as to regional and national growth within life sciences. Currently, 25 people with extensive experience from healthcare, research, and business work at the Innovation Platform. The operation is characterized by an open dialogue climate and a strong drive for development. We aim to build a multiprofessional team characterized by humility, with individuals who put the team before themselves, are empathetic, dare to try new things, are self-driven, and are not afraid to make mistakes sometimes.

The Assignment

At the Innovation Platform, we actively work to disseminate news and information about our mission through various channels. We are now looking for a student who wants to contribute new perspectives on our communication. Your main task will be to suggest how we can work even more effectively and accurately with our communication.

For example, you can help us analyze how we work today, suggest new channels, conduct target audience analyses, or review website structure and content. Perhaps you can suggest how we can make our website even more attractive and user-friendly without deviating from VGR’s visual profile, accessibility requirements, and other guidelines.

In short: We welcome suggestions on what you can offer us!

If time allows, you are also welcome to contribute to content production for our various channels.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone studying at a university or college in Västra Götaland in journalism, media and communication studies, strategic communication, or equivalent.

You need to be analytical and strategic. We also prefer that you have operational skills in communication, for example, you are a sharp writer, or have web skills (we use Optimizeley as a publishing tool and Matomo for web analytics), and you may also have skills in graphic design, film, photography, and/or illustration.

Working hours: Max 15h/week (by agreement) hourly employment.

Duration: Follows the school terms.
